Integrative Therapies for your Cancer Care and Prevention

MISSION: At the CICC we strive to integrate and optimize each individual's healthcare experience. This means that careful consideration is taken regarding each patient's individual needs, and plans of care are created in accordance to those needs. Individuals that are currently undergoing chemotherapy, radiation and/or biological treatments with an oncology team will be carefully guided to ensure that any complementary medical treatments offered through the CICC do not interfere with current treatments.
HOW: A comprehensive assessment of each patient is recommended for ideal benefits of care at the CICC. This recommended initial assessment includes a physical examination (no bloodwork or lab tests required), a review of patient health records and a discussion of current needs/goals of each patient. This 90-minute assessment visit is with our two Clinic Directors and Naturopathic Doctors at the CICC. In the next 60-minute visit, an individualized and comprehensive care plan is shared with each patient which includes the treatments/therapies that are believed to best suit the individual from the services provided at the CICC, home care, and/or treatments that may be offered outside of the CICC.
If patients would rather come in for treatments with one of our practitioners without a comprehensive assessment from our Naturopathic Doctors, they are welcome to do so. This option is available to all new patients, but may limit the value of integrated care through the CICC.
For more information about the individual therapies offered at the CICC please take a look at the drop-down menu of treatment options from the "Therapies Offered" tab above.
